"When we came up with the idea of Russian VR Seasons, we did not anticipate how much interest this new and not yet fully understood format would attract among viewers in Russia and abroad, – said the project curator Georgy Molodtsov. – With each new show our programme is expanding, and we are glad that virtual reality technologies give an opportunity to immerse the more sophisticated viewer in the most interesting and unique places in Russia and to demonstrate the new generation's of innovators way of thinking."
Documentaries form the main part of the programme: "Lake Baikal: Winter Spirit", "VRability: Maxim Kiselev" (created as part of the motivational project for people with disabilities), "Our North Pole" (by Olesya Kustova) about trips beyond the Arctic Circle, "Kamchatka" (by Dmitry Terem) – a snowboarding experience on the slopes of Russia's Far East and many others.
