One of the greatest changes in storytelling comes with immersive media – Virtual Reality and 360 video. In 2018 the VR section will become a part of EFM at 68 Berlinale for the first time. VR film makers from all over the world will be able to present their projects in virtual reality internationally. Russian VR Seasons will present eight VR short movies from studios and independent Russian directors.

Thanks to new technologies in cinema production, a viewer gets an opportunity to find himself in retro footage of the pre-revolutionary Russia and then to immerse into the most prominent picture of Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin "Bathing of a red horse".
